Softtrail Privacy Policy

Softtrail replaces the default mouse cursor with custom packs. Preferences stay in local Chrome storage — no accounts, no sale of personal data. Last updated July 11, 2026.

Summary

No user accounts. No name, email, or browsing history collection. Selected pack and size are stored locally. Cursor images may load from cdn.custom-cursor.com.

Permissions

storage remembers pack and size. Content scripts apply the cursor on pages without reading page content for analytics. CDN host access is only for cursor and preview images.

What we do not collect

No personal identifiers, credentials, payment data, browsing history, form inputs, keystrokes, precise location, or advertising identifiers. No third-party analytics SDKs.
